The location is fantastic, just moments from the beach, and the pools are impressive for families. Staff are incredibly friendly, and having a rental store for beach gear nearby is a plus. However, the onsen's water felt overly treated, which detracted from the experience a bit.

Recommend it for families

The staff was very nice, speaking a ton of languages, making it easier to communicate. We also loved the onsen experience, especially how relaxing it was to unwind in the hot bath after a full day at the beach.

It wasn't inexpensive , but for what we got, I’d say it was worth it.

It was just an optimal selection for a momentary visit in Shizuoka with good value. The Japanese restaurant had great food, but it was a bit pricey and confusing without guidance on how to eat it. Bring your own coffee if you’re looking for more caffeine options.
